SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups of dates, washed well

3/4 tablespoon tamarind paste

1 teaspoon cumin seed

salt to taste

1  1/2 cups water

METHOD:

  1. Put the dates, tamarind paste, cumin seeds, salt, and water in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you need more water, add 1 tablespoon at a time, blending after each addition. This stays good in the freezer for 5 weeks
