Refreshing Coriander Drink


2  tablespoons fennel seeds

3 pieces rock sugar (about 2 tablespoons)

2  3/4 cup water

2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, washed and cut

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup crushed ice (for each glass)


  1. Soak fennel seeds and rock sugar in 3/4 cup water for 4-5 hours or overnight (wash fennel seeds and rock sugar before soaking.)
  2. After soaked, put the fennel seeds, rock sugar, and coriander leaves in a blender and blend well.
  3. Then blend in the remaining 2 cups of water and lemon juice.
  4. Put 1/4 cup crushed ice into each glass and then strain the drink and pour into the glasses. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
