DRY MOONG SPROUT WITH MASALA

INGREDIENTS

1 cup moong sprout

1  tablespoon oil corn or canola or your choice

2 green chili pepper wash and chopped / or you can use 1 (optional)

3 curry leaves

1/4 teaspoon ajwain seed

1/8 teaspoon fenugreek seed

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/4 teaspoon chili powder

1 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup coriander leaves wash and chopped

salt to taste

If you like to add spinach then you can have organic baby spinach washed and finely chopped (optional)

METHOD

1: Put the pan on stove medium-low heat, add oil in let get hot then add green chili,curry leaves,ajwain seeds, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds. Keep and stir and let them cook for 5 second, then  add moong sprout in with pinch of turmeric powder and red chili powder,mix all well add 1/2 cup water, salt to taste  and lemon juice,mix all  well and covered pot and let cook for 5 minutes.

2: Make sure in between keep-and stir so don’t get burn,if you using spinach then add now and add coriander leaves  and mix well, ( save some for garnish) let cook 1 minute then taste for salt and lemon to your taste,

(add spinach ) if you need add as your taste.

3: Now  check sprout ,if they are ready  or you need little more water then you can add 2 tablespoon and mix, when they are ready they look so tender and soft, you press with your finger they will press easily, then they are ready.

Here we go our moong sprout is ready to serve,garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Note: This is very ymmm healthy tasty one pot meal,very easy to make and eat the way you want, if you want add some salad with you can do that to, with rice, quinoa,or gluten free roti or naan or just it self.

This is vegan,allergy-friendly, gluten-free dairy-free and nut free.

HOW TO MAKE MOONG SPROUT

METHOD

1: Take one cup moong, and wash them 3or 4 time then soak 6 to 7 hours, then put in sterner let all water drian and  wash with clean water and live for 10 minutes, then put in kitchen towel and tait the towel and put in the bowel and keep over night in a warm place.

2: open the towel in the morning and your sprout is ready, you can see in the picture.
