MINT AND CORIANDER SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

1  1/2 cups fresh mint  leaves, washed and cut into small pieces

1  1/2  cups coriander leaves, washed and cut into small pieces

2 green chili peppers, washed and cut

2 tablespoons of jaggery sugar

1 teaspoon cumin seed

juice from 1 fresh lemon or lime

salt to taste

1/4 cup water

METHOD:

  1. Put the mint, coriander, chili peppers, jaggery sugar, cumin seeds, lemon or lime juice, salt, and water in a blender. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and saucy. This stays in the freezer for 3-4 weeks.
